GENERAL POLICIES AND RULES
Check in time is 2:00 pm for RV sites. Check out time is 12 pm for RV sites. Check in time is 4 pm and Check out time is 10 am for Tiny homes and Sowal Palms Home
All guests shall register upon arrival at the park. Please provide names of additional guests with names and ages when registering.
The speed limit is 5 mph. Please watch for children and other guests.
No nuisances or annoyances shall be permitted on the property that may interfere with the peaceful enjoyment of guest’s stay and their possessions.
Please observe quiet time from 10:00 PM until 8:00 AM.
All buildings and public areas including grilling shelters and sports area are smoke free.
Site rent includes 1 RV and 1 vehicle . Additional parking for back in sites may or may not be available.
Maximum number of guests per site is six (6).
Maximum number of guests per tiny house is two (2).
Maximum length of stay shall be limited to 6 months.
RVs must be clean and in good condition.
SoWal Palms assumes no responsibility for theft, fire, or damage to any property, vehicle, boat, or recreational unit.
NO FIRES including fireworks are permitted in the park. If you have a charcoal grill please do not dump on ground, Do NOT put in trash while its still hot.
No illegal drugs.
No Boats are allowed to be parked in RV sites.
No weapons or firearms are permitted in the park.
Right to refuse/Evict/Deny access--SoWal Palms RV Park is a privately-owned park. Management reserves the right to refuse services, evict or deny access to anyone, under any circumstances it deems necessary, in accordance with applicable local, state and federal laws. There will be no refunds.
Violating Park rules may be reason for termination of reservation without refund.
Minors must be supervised at all times on park property.
Bicycles are only allowed on paved areas and are not permitted after dark.
All campers are prohibited from construction areas and construction material areas.
SITE SPECIFIC POLICIES
Guests are responsible for the neat appearance of their site. No clutter or outside storage. No tents, refrigerators, freezers or clotheslines. Please refrain from mechanical repairs on cars, coaches, motorcycles, boats, etc.
Please do not move picnic tables.
Please do not litter your campsite. No trash including cigarette butts may be thrown on ground. Please use the dumpster on the north side of the park for disposal of trash.
Please park RVs as far back as possible to allow room for extra transportation and unobstructed flow of traffic.
Do not remove backflow preventer from water outlets. It is a state law for us to have them at every site.
Please use the dumpster located on the north side of the park.
Please do not park on grass or in vacant site.
PLAYGROUND
Playground participants should be supervised by an adult. No park supervision is provided. No animals are allowed in the playground.
RATES/ PAYMENTS
If you plan to extend your stay and the site is already booked, you may need to relocate to another site. Check with office to see if available.
Rates are determined by the agreed reservation dates at booking, not your actual arrival and departure. No refunds are given for late arrivals or shortened stays.
Rates are subject to change.
MONTH TO MONTH:
Length of stay is limited to 6 months or less.
NO PERMANENT RESIDENTS ARE ALLOWED.
When checking out, your site must be clean and left the way you found it. We reserve the right to charge your credit card a fee of $100.00 for having to clean your site of any garbage or personal items left behind.
We reserve the right to move campsites at anytime.
PET POLICY
Pets must be on a 6-foot leash, and excessive barking must be controlled. You must have in your possession a bag to clean up after your pet. Pets must not be left unattended outside at any time. Pit Bull, Doberman, and similar aggressive breeds are prohibited. All pets must be spayed or neutered, have appropriate shots and be under the owner's control at all times. You must clean up after your pet at all times!
Pet owners must take full responsibility for the actions of their pets. Owners of pets indemnify, hold harmless, and release Sowal Palms RV and all related parties from any and all causes of action, claims, lawsuits and demands of any kind, made by any guest or third party, as a result of any action made by owner's pet(s). Pet owners are fully responsible for any costs including attorney fees arising from claims made due to their pets.
DRONE POLICY
Out of safety concerns for guests, employees and campground property as well as concerns for individual privacy Sowal Palms RV prohibits the operation or use of drones on Sowal Palms RV property. This applies to drones launched or operated from campground property as well as drones launched from property outside of the campground boundaries.
TRIP INSURANCE
Reputable insurance companies offer trip insurance, refunding your reservation fees and rents if you have to cancel or shorten your stay. Sowal Palms RV encourages you to take advantage of trip insurance.
RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By checking in and paying for your stay, you agree to rent the assigned site/unit for the specified number of days upon your arrival.
There is a nonrefundable reservation fee of $50 for nightly and/or weekly reservations for RV sites and $100 for monthly RV sites, monthly tiny homes and all reservations for the Sowal Palms house. Upon arrival this reservation fee will be applied to your stay.
Each guest agrees to abide by all park policies and rules including observing speed limits.
Failure to observe park policies and rules will at the discretion of park management be sufficient reason for eviction from the park and forfeiture of the balance of your rent.
Sowal Palms RV is not responsible for loss, damage, or injury to any person, vehicle or other personal property.
Your stay is subject to Chapter 513 of the Florida Statutes. If you leave early, you will not receive a refund.
